As a mother of young men, I am inexplicably tormented by this young man’a letter to his parents. I think he was too young to have had to think this way, but then he was being realistic at the same time. War is a fucked up actuality of any soldier and especially right now the soldiers in the Israel Army. I am reminded of memorial day and want to share with you not everyone considers it a shopping holiday. It is for me truly a day of mourning. America lost so many brave soldiers, but as a unknown Jew until the age of 51 ( I am 61 now) , I am as much internally weeping for those who fight for full

Freedom in Israel now. My feelings are very complicated due to my upbringing & experiences , but this I know: God has promised to preserve HIS nation. Protecting this country must be our highest priority. Let God Prevail.
