Hi Elissa, I think I read your poem "Despair in Auschwitz" years ago... I might've been in middle school so it was probably the late 2000s to 2010s. But I'm trying to remember how or where I read it. I'm not from the Pittsburgh area nor am I Jewish, but I do think it reached me somehow, republished in some anthology or newspaper I'd read. Nonetheless, it's still very powerful. It's a villanelle, right? Looking forward to reading (and perhaps contributing) to your mag.
Your high school poem is . . . phenomenal.
Elissa: because I am a dope when it comes to technology, how do I access "your sub stack?"

Awesome read, Elissa. Loved your poem and seeing Elie Wiesel's letter to you.
You are truly one of a kind.
